Mariam Osama Joins VertiCairo As Research Assistant
Mariam Osama is a Research Assistant at VertiCairo, where she brings her expertise in biology to support sustainable farming solutions and research initiatives to enhance aquaponic systems. With a passion for sustainability and environmental science, Mariam is eager to contribute to VertiCairo’s innovative projects in vertical farming and aquaponics.
She graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC) in January 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, specializing in Molecular and Cell Biology, alongside minors in Chemistry and Behavioral Neuroscience. During her time at AUC, she worked as a research assistant on a project focused on extracting valuable biochemical compounds from environmental samples.
