Ramadan Blessings from VertiCairo – ( S1 ) Project Update

Ramadan is a time of reflection, growth, and improvement—values that align perfectly with our work at VertiCairo. As we continue to work on System1 (S1), our latest improvements bring us closer to refining the design, though there’s still work to be done.

Latest Updates:

    •    Internal Plumbing: All plumbing is now fully integrated within the system, eliminating external pipes for a cleaner look.

    •    Lighting Enhancements: We’ve doubled the LED strips to improve plant growth, but the results aren’t quite where we want them yet. The light poles need to be re-positioned closer, as they were originally installed without precise light Intensity readings.

Challenges & Next Steps:

    •    Pot Holes Solution: We’re weighing two options:

    1.    Using elbows for each hole (costly but polished).

    2.    Cutting and reassembling straight pipes at an angle to create makeshift elbows (lower cost but less visually appealing).

Mostafa Sherif is working on both approaches, and we’ll decide on the best path soon.
