Sohila Usama Joins VertiCairo as Science Facilitator

Sohila Rabie graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC) in 2021 with a BSc. in Biology, a concentration in Molecular and Cell Biology and two minors in Chemistry and Psychology. Sohila has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at AUC in 2021 and 2024. 

Since her time as a student, Sohila has been actively engaged in sustainability and environmental advocacy. In 2019, she presented her research paper on endangered bird species at the 2nd World Congress on Undergraduate Research (WCUR) in Oldenburg, Germany. She also worked at AUC’s Office of Sustainability as a Student Assistant, where she contributed to various initiatives promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices on campus.
